Dr. Hunter Martin was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Dental Sciences from New York University College of Dentistry. She received her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training from New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center which included obtaining her Medical Degree from New York University School of Medicine. She was a clinical attending at Bellevue Hospital Center from 2019-2021 and joined Northwell Health in November 2020 where she has served as the Program Director for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program since 2022. She practices full scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a specific interest in orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and benign pathology. Dr. Martin's interests include traveling, dining in New York City, and long walks with her golden retriever, Walter.
